We were invited to design a luxury villa and associated facilities in Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos with direct access to the beach over the sand dunes maximising the views whilst protecting the building from the winds. The project has to comply to both the TCI Building Code / Standards and the Emerald Point & Leaward community Standards.
The villa is accessed from Dolphin Avenue with an impressive gate-house style entrance so the building, which is secluded, is partially hidden from view. The villa will also have separate garages and staff accommodation along with private guest suites. The main accommodation will be at the water’s edge with large double height views through to the sea and include an elegant feature staircase connecting the ground to the first floor.
An infinity edge swimming pool is a crucial element of the design. The infinity edge blade is visually connected to the ocean taking into consideration the potential for erosion or flooding. As such the ground floor will be raised and all final designs will focus on look, style as well as safety.
Internally, all spaces and rooms are being designed to create a villa of exceptional luxury and quality.
